ESWe stayed 3 night here. The room is very spacious and well designed, you can see that it was planned with someone with good eye. The bed was very nice and big, also confortable. The room is on the first floor with view on patio, therefore not much light is coming in. There was a good size closed terrace where you could sit outside, looking to the patio. As it's in a residency building, it has some noises but nothing during the night, it was very silent, which was a plus. Everything is new here and well kept. The neighborhood is ok, had to get used it. It's close and walking distance to Ortigia and the main attractions.
I mentioned during my stay that I was missing a mirror where I can see myself, seems I was the only one so far complaining about, I found this strange especially in a country where people pay attention to clothing. We had some miscommunication about one night extension and some further answers came with some delay therefore we had to rethink some of our plannings, I felt a bit like if I was bothering when asking questions ( we are experienced travelers, have a base of comparison).

AUAsia was very welcoming and friendly and her English is good. The location is fantastic. It's just ten minutes easy walk to the train/bus station and also into Ortigia. It's in a part of Syracuse that is not touristy so has a nice "local" feel with cafes, bakeries, shops and a good supermarket. Breakfast was at a nearby bakery using a card that entitled me to a pastry and a coffee. I only had the coffee which was very good. The pastries looked delicious, and it was a popular place with the locals which is always a good sign.
The place is very new and feels like it's still being finished so is a bit "soulless". It's very nice though...new and super clean. It just needs a few more homely touches, and it would have been nice to have basic tea/coffee making facilities and a kettle so I could have made a cup of tea when I got back to the room after exploring.
NZGreat modern apartment, the room and bedroom were really nice and spacious. The host was really friendly and allowed us to store our bags there for the day, we really appreciated it! Would highly recommend :)
