Excellent Location With own pool ended up not going to the beach too often, although beach was only 5 minutes walk away

The pool was lovely. Plenty of seating outside. Between beds, and 2 sets of table and chairs. The kitchen was well stocked with a large fridge/freezer. Cooking facilities, smoothie maker & dishwasher. Plenty cutlery and glasses. There is an outside utility with a washer and clothes horse which was handy. Downstairs consists of a sizeable couch, dining table, bedroom and bathroom. Plenty wardrobe space. There is an upstairs that you can get to with a spiral staircase. With one double bedroom and en-suite and a fabulous balcony. Beds were ok. Overall the property was great and good value. Easy to get a taxi from if you call them, otherwise you can go to the nearby hotel and they will order one for you. We didn’t go to the taxi rank as it’s too far away.

Communication from owner was not good. I contacted multiple times with no reply. The WiFi was not working the whole trip, i advised owner of this and no response. Luckily the data on our phone worked. But this would not suit if you didn’t have unlimited data. I contacted through booking.com, the owners communication website and WhatsApp. They did not reply until I advised of an issue with the shower in the en-suite, the water was leaking all the way into the bedroom. The bathroom door was water damaged and we had to keep using our towels to dry it up. It was quite dangerous slip hazard. It was very windy during our stay, as Lanzarote usually is. A lot of the doors are sliding doors, so they were quite loud with the wind shaking. As well as the windows. The top window outside the upstairs bedroom kept swinging open. It disturbed our nights most nights as we would have to get up to move doors, try get them to close properly as well as having to keep closing the window. Property is on a hill so the only way to get back up to property after being in the town is a big hill or steep stairs. So not ideal for some travellers.

The location of the villa is excellent; 5 minute walk to the beach, restaurants, bars and supermarkets. Lovely ocean view and not overlooked. Quiet area so good for relaxation. Villa itself spacious and clean. Excellent amenities, fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, iron, hairdryer. Good WiFi throughout property. Beds comfortable. Esther easy to contact, lovely, friendly and helpful

If I had to pick a fault it would be that we didn't find the pillows very comfortable
