Lovely and clean property

Overall the lodge was beautiful and really clean has everything in it like you would at home lovely hot tub with private fishing peg ...downfall side of it was my wife is a light sleeper and struggled to sleep with the busy road right beside us witch made her stay a little less enjoyable as it was for her 40th birthday from me and the kids ..I'd definitely stay again.but the wife would need some ear plugs next time ...kids really enjoyed it ...you can't use no facilities with out a pass not even the play park just a heads up

We stayed here for my daughters birthday, we stayed here also last July and really loved it. The check in time is very good 2pm gives you more time to enjoy the hot tub and extends your break. The lodge is very clean ,smells fresh. It was warm and cosy. The hot tub was very good and enjoyed the lakeside aspect. We did find this time around that the TV played up ,it pixilated alot and was difficult to watch . The remote control didn't work very well ,on off switch doesn't seem to work. The toaster appeared not to work but when we plugged it into another socket it worked, it appears the socket next to the kettle does not work.

- The property is immaculately clean and generally in good condition - Hand soap, washing up liquid, condiments, tea towels, all an added bonus - The view over the lake was great - Hot tub was great - Wi-Fi - watching the typhoons taking off, however these are noisy - Great place for star gazing and seeing the night skies clearly

- Extremely noisy due to being next to the main road. Not a relaxing experience. The main bedroom is on this side so not great for sleeping - Sofa needs replacing, not very comfortable - Bannister around hot tub needs attention and could do with some privacy screening - Toaster doesn’t work - Dishwasher not working - Cooker hob rings not firing on all pins - curtains in main bedroom needs attention has had a hair grip on them - No curtains on the main window on the living room, net curtains only - TV remote doesn’t turn tv on or off, use the button on the back right of the tv - Only 1 wine glass

Really beautiful finishes to the property. Very clean. Hot tub and decking area looks out onto the lake - really beautiful location. Main bed very comfy and the lodge itself was very clean and smelt lovely.

- dishwasher didn’t work - toaster didn’t work - sofa not comfortable. No main sofa cushions at the back of the sofa. - no curtains in the main living area on the big double doors so it felt exposed in the evening time and not as cosy as it could have been - 2 hours before our check in time we were contacted by the owner to say they had no gas so we probably couldn’t go! 30 mins later he called to say it was sorted, but it was a very stressful and upsetting 30 minutes trying to work out how to tell my children their holiday was cancelled! - security came round at 8.30 at night time asking for the owners, apparently they owe them a form. Security were fine when they realised we weren’t the owners but it wasn’t very nice to have security banging on the door at night time!

It was a lovely cosy little getaway, very clean and tidy and beds were also very comfy, plenty to watch on tv and hot tub was nice and warm on arrival.
