Treetops & Viaducts; open plan two-bed apartment

The flat is located a short walking distance to Todmorden - we walked along the canal one day and the road another day. We had a great evening in Todmorden where there are lovely cafes and bars. The next day we walked to Hebden Bridge along the canal and got a bus back. The apartment is tastefully decorated, loved the colour schemes. Great books to look at. Very comfortable bed. We brought some food to make breakfast and everything was easy to use in the kitchen. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The apartment is very cosy and I felt at home. Rachael, the host, was very communicative and friendly

I was prepared for the metal stairway up to the apartment as I had seen the pictures and read the reviews, I did get used to it but I was a tiny bit scared at first.

The apartment was in a very good location not far from the town centre

The apartment was offered in excellent condition and had nearly everything you need, albeit a microwave to heat things would have been nice

Views from the apartment, its close proximity to public transport and well placed for visiting a variety of lovely places. Lovely canal walk close by. Beautifully clean and warm. Basic essentials stocked.

It would be helpful to have a microwave. The leather on the armchair was split but putting a throw on it made it more comfortable

Comfortable spacious apartment , well appointed. Teas, coffee and milk, some games and books were provided, the views were splendid, just above the river. There is an easy walk along the canal path into Todmorden.

The metal stairs outside were a bit of a challenge for someone who doesn't like heights. There is a weir in the river at the back of the house that could be heard ofter a few days of heavy rain.

The location and apartment were very charming. The host was also lovely. We hope to come back next year!
