The larger property is beautiful, steeped in its home history, and walkable to local shops and restaurants.

The apartment was covered in mildew and mold, including an entire wall In the kids room. This was of great concern to us, and made us happy to be only spending one night. Additionally, none of the facilities (pool, hot tub, sauna) were open, which was the primary reason we chose this property over other cheaper options. We were not told before arrival, so this was an immense disappointment to the kids, and to me when I leaned that it didn’t result in a significant discount to the nightly rate.

The location and surrounding of the property were amazing. We stayed for my partners birthday and to explore some of the Highlands. Our son felt like he was living in hogarts with lights turning on like magic as he passed through the corridors. The apartment was spotless and felt like a home away from home. Central to all locations on our itinerary over the weekend.

The Boathouse restaurant wasn't open ( although this sits near this isn't part of the complex itself) but there are a couple of restaurants and takeaways a five min walk away. The hot water was a little temperamental for shower/bath but it didn't impact our stay.

Centrally located, very homely, convenient access to pool, tennis, ping pong, gym. Beautiful building and grounds. Lots of room in apartment. Master bedroom is a brill size.

Could do with a 2nd small sofa as the 2 chairs in lounge arent very comfortable. Trying to sit and watch a film wasnt comfy. pillows on beds need replacing as have gone flat so made an uncomfortable sleep.

Fabulous location

Great location, amazing old building with very interesting history. We loved hearing all about it and having a tour with Mark. It was great to have use of a gym, pool, sauna and steam room. The apartment had everything we needed for a comfortable stay

It would be great to have some towel rails to hang out the towels when the heated towel warmer isn’t on. The main bed was comfortable but there were some large dips in it and the mattress probably just needs replacing. It didn’t impact our positive stay though

The location and the building, spacious rooms, the entrance. We stayed in the bastion, an ugly building that they built next to the original building. But the apartment was nice and the utilities of the building also. Nice and quiet, good and free parking. Nice little village you can walk to, boathouse on the lake.

Kitchen was a bit outdated
