Old House In Central Of Old Town

I made last mins booking and they said the flat was not open that day and send me an alternative stay outside the city. They did reply anything after I requested a free cancellation. It waste me 1 h on call with booking.com support team.

Nothing Cancel yor booking if you are staying here, its a scam .Contacted property a few days before visit to check everything okay as reviews were worrying, owner said to ring after 10am on day of stay for key code etc but when we rang he then messaged to say in broken English cancelled due to gas problem, just a load of rubbish, had to then frantically find other accommodation at extra cost as we were already on train to Edinburgh. When we walked past property there is a' To Let' sign above the door and looks empty.

All of it ,avoid this accommodation, there is something dodgy about it . No communication, owner can't speak English and tells you a pack of lies.

This vendor is SCAMMING people out of their hard earned money, I booked this for my self and my family for the 14th to 15th of December 2024 to have an overnight stay and go to the Christmas markets, we arrived and tried to get hold of the vendor to let us in to the apartment, I called him and he pretended not to hear me then promptly blocked my number, I tried again 14 times, my husband and son also tried to call, in the end we had to book into another hotel which left us extremely out of pocket, and completely ruined our trip. This person needs to be in prison.

the place is spacious, super well located (2 min walk from the royal mile) and the host was great. great value for money

Brilliant location, comfortable space

Location was amazing . Easy to call and get key box code. Clean with complimentary bottled water and canned soft drinks. As a base for exploring Edinburgh you won't find a better location. Nice quality bedding and a very efficient shower.

The small single room has no window and is really more like a large cupboard . The second set of stairs were poorly lit '

The owner was nice enough to let us check in and drop off our luggage early. We had a short time in Edinburgh so really appreciated this. Absolutely loved the location and thought the apartment was so charming!
