Villa Can Toni Pau by Villa Plus

House is secluded, only one neighbor apart from the golf course. We loved the solitude but you need to have a car. Bedrooms are airconditioned (AC is time-restricted). We visited with an infant, who had no problems sleeping despite the grown-ups talking and laughing at the large veranda table. High chair (which is an extra) is a standard IKEA issue with table, which we liked. Kitchen directly connects to the veranda. Lots of kids‘ toys and inflatable air mattresses at your disposal, we also added to the stack. New table tennis rackets, however only one billiard cue. Veranda and terrace are spacious, pool is well-sized and well-kept. Twice a week, towels and linen are changed and the pool is being cleaned (those tasks done by different teams). When we arrived, the nights were still cold and the linen provided were not sufficient for us. We went to IKEA for four cheap blankets, which we left at the property so you may or may not find these in one of the closets. Great communication which the owner, the service people, and Villa Plus. Overall, we all agreed that it was a perfect spot for us.

We recommend using dishwasher powder instead of tablets, putting the powder in the respective space and adding some additional powder directly into the unit, otherwise the machine may not be able to dissolve the tablet and provide a full clean. The indices on the oven are worn out, so it takes a bit of fiddling to figure out what dial setting corresponds to what oven mode. We had an issue with ants in the kitchen, which the owner took care of during our visit but seems to be a recurring issue.

Location and outdoors

No hot water for showering and no electricity in 1 bathroom ! Not easy communication with villa plus.
