CRThe place is adorable and comfortable, in a great location if one has enough time after arriving to enjoy the area before it's time to check out. Unfortunately I arrived late in the evening and once I got settled and took care of some necessary business I only had time to cook something, eat it, clean up and sleep, repack and take everything to the car by check-out time. I recommend a longer stay, if possible, to truly enjoy the location.
The parking lot has many levels and guests must park down below, which isn't optimal for an older person that's not so strong. It was also a bit of a challenge to keep all of the trash separated and take it out before leaving. This isn't a criticism of the property--it seems to be standard when staying in any private residence in Italy, but it's time consuming and messy and not generally required by hotels.
