Solace Eco Cabins - Citrus Cabin

Our stay at Solace Cabin was absolutely fantastic! The cabin is beautifully designed, offering both luxury and comfort in a breathtaking natural setting. It is well-equipped. The stunning views made for a truly serene and relaxing getaway. The KolKol was the perfect touch, adding to the charm and making our stay even more special. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind—highly recommended.

Nothing that we didn’t like, but a microwave oven would be nice to have. I would also suggest to supply a roll of paper towel.

Beautiful cabin in scenic surroundings. Excellent view of the mountains, especially at dusk. Comfortable bed and wonderful outside shower. The hot tub was a hit late at night to watch the starts and relax . Staff attentive and contactable by WhatsApp. Wood etc are taken care of and there is a gass braai on the terrace as alternative to the fire pit.

Definitely not a summer destination, unless you like to live on Mars. The cabin has big windows in front and small windows on all sides , which act like heating elements in the sun. The sun shines on the cabin from sunrise to sunset and there are no blinds nor curtains , and no form of shade anywhere. The air conditioning unit did not cope with the heat and is programmed to work only from 10 am to 8pm. We had to leave the cabin during the day, because it was just too uncomfortable.

Location, surroundings, bed & kitchen

Not blinds for all bedroom windows nor a door to the bedroom. Having chairs for outside use would be great

The cabin is well equipped, a cool design and the location is amazing. The gravel road was concern, as my car is very low (golf gtd)... but it was a decent gravel road.

A truly wonderful and unique experience. The “human” extras like wood heated hot tub, excellent fire pit, outdoor shower etc are all great… but the WOW factor is Mother Nature on your doorstep- undisturbed- and 24/7. Stunning location and views in total isolation. Don’t hesitate to visit this place (but just check that the insects aren’t multiplying at the time)

Exceptionally well appointed self catering cabin in the middle of nowhere, on a citrus farm near Citrusdal. The cabin is completely off the grid, but power and water was readily available. Absolute bonus: stunning outside shower and hot-tub! Stunning, modern cabin in every way - everything you could possibly need plus a bottle of local wine!

Absolutely nothing. This is the PERFECT break-away cabin!
