GBA genuinely special campervan experience. The engine is in excellent condition and felt solid and reliable throughout, which is no small thing for a van of this age. Driving a 50-year-old camper is very much part of the appeal — it’s huge fun, especially if you love classic vehicles. The van attracts attention everywhere you go, with people stopping to smile, wave, and start conversations. Renting it also helps keep this beautiful piece of history on the road, so others get to enjoy it in the future too. The owner is super helpful and clearly passionate, with lots of thoughtful touches that make everything easy and well prepared. A memorable, characterful way to travel if you’re happy to trade modern perfection for charm and experience.
UAЦе мій перший досвід проживання в кемпері. Поселення було опівночі (через пізній літак), власник за додаткову плату погодився підібрати мене в аеропорті. Я заїхав на точку без освітлення і з дуже сильним вітром, тому розкладати ліжко вперше було дуже незручно і спочатку мій досвід був негативним. Але з кожним днем перебуванням я все більше привикав до авто, алгоритму розкладання/складання спального місця і до кінця поїздки (4 дні) я вже закохався у авто і такий спосіб життя. Не користувався туалетом, душем, пальником, столом. Лише спав в авто, зберігав речі і відвідував неймовірну природу острова. Ходив в туалет в ресторанах, в душ на пляжах з душем (Playa del Reducto і Playa Honda).
Знімаю бал за матрас, який було дуже складно розстелити і складно застелити постіль. Машині 50 років — важливо мати відповідні очікування, тоді поїздка пройде чудово!
