Grove Place Apartment

Lovely inside apartment with plenty of space and comfy beds. People were lovely and breakfast was yum.

The area felt a bit dodgy. Lots of stairs. You have to go somewhere seperate to the apartment to check in and out. A key safe at the apartment would have been handy.

It was very clean, tidy and the rooms generously spacious. The kitchen was clean and facilities new and in good working order. There was complementary milk, tea, coffee and biscuits waiting for us on arrival. Both bedrooms were large, beds very comfortable and linen, including towels, clean, soft and white. Soaps, shower gel and shower caps generously provided. Fabulous modern shower in the en-suite. Quiet location (although faces a main road) plenty of private and off road parking. It’s a second floor apartment so some stairs to navigate. John and Jason were fab hosts. Stay included a wonderful breakfast at their hotel about a 10min walk away. Vegan options guarantee a good start to the day. I especially liked the little jars of fresh strawberries and blueberries with granola and vegan yogurt. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I would definitely return to Grove Place and have no hesitation in recommending this apartment for an enjoyable Leamington Spa stay. Thank you John and Jason for your hospitality and very warm and comfortable stay.

There is nothing I didn’t like about the property. It was all to a very high standard. Just one comment about the sash windows: they were quite difficult to open. This in no way affected the enjoyment of our stay

For a last minute replacement it was ideal and very convenient for our daytime venue. Free parking was necessary for us. Excellent living and dining room, comfortable beds and one bathroom per bedroom. Unfortunately we could not avail ourselves of the complimentary breakfast at the hotel as we had to make early starts each morning.

Two flights of stairs! Also the smoke alarm went off and it took two hours for us, the neighbours and the fire brigade to get hold of an engineer to come and turn it off. It was deafening! I gather the system is faulty.

The property was clean and had all basics

Very cold , no heating and took a long time to heat up. Intermittent hot water. The entrance was quite grotty

Some windows were difficult to open

The apartment is home from home. It's clean and spacious. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, and the shower was perfect. The furniture was comfortable and I liked the fact it was quiet. We were thankful for the fans and air circulation units! It's also walking distance into the main part of town which was very handy.

There's a lot of stairs to get up to the apartment, and there's stairs within the apartment. The stairs in the apartment weren't a problem, but it's worth knowing that they're there. I especially disliked the constant smell of cigarette smoke in the kitchen. It absolutely stank. I can only assume the issue was coming from the apartment below, and I couldn't get any windows open in the apartment to let the smell out. My clothes were in a bag in a bedroom on the next floor and they were wreaking of smoke when I got home. Everything has had to be washed. The area wasn't very nice. Definitely the less affluent side of Leamington. The smashed glass on the street outside the private car park was a bit of a concern.
