Magica - Cosy Apartment in the heart of Budapest

Quiet, close to transit

It didn’t have a washing machine as described when I booked. The description has since changed.

It's a old and small, but very clean apartment. It has everything you need for a short stay. The bed is comfortable, the air conditioning works and there are plenty of dishes and cups, if you want to cook something. It's located on the street, but somehow it's very quiet all the time. The apartment is at about 20 min walking distance from the centre, but you will have to walk there, as the apartment is not close to any direct public transport.

The bathroom was clean, but old and the air ventilation system in it didn't do a good job. Shower curtain and towels need to be replaced, as they weren't in good condition. We didn't like that we needed to download another app to check-in. Also the late check-in (3 PM) is not perfect for everyone. It would be nice to provide some coffee, even if it's not free. The apartment building felt safe, but the neighbourhood didn't. There were a lot of suspicious men walking around the street, often police cars were parked near surrounding buildings and there were a lot of homeless people, some of which weren't friendly at all. I don't recommend this neighbourhood for women, who are travelling alone, or for people, who stay out late. Also keep in mind that it's a very big city, so you will have to walk a lot.

The apartment was wonderful, very cozy and clean. It had everything we needed. The host is very kind, helpful and professional. We would definitely come back again!

We really liked the location, don't be afraid of the club/pub street because the windows face the courtyard and you could hear practically nothing. Very clean and everything matched the description of the place and its equipment. Contact with the owner via Whatsup was very simple and satisfying. Very comfortable bed on the mezzanine

Nothing at all

Cute n cosy apartment suitable for single or couple. Well furnished. Comfortable bed & pillows. Plenty of hot water. Reliable WiFi. Great location, everything you need is close by including bars, restaurants, supermarket, and public transport. Can walk to most attractions. Good check-in instructions. Good communication from owner/manager.

Complimentary tea & coffee would be a really nice touch, especially when arriving after 24+ hrs of travel. No washing machine as specified - it was sitting beside the front door, unfortunately. The apartment had a slight musty smell on arrival - on my last day, noted kitchen sink leaking into cupboard below - reported same.

Home was very lovely, clean and cozy. Host also was very good. Location also is good.
