Lack of basic utility instructions in an otherwise lovely property provided by the owners . Only operating instructions for the dishwasher were available . Strict instructions for the usage of the bins for which there were deposit withholding penalties for misuse were foiled because they were partially full of other people’s incorrectly deposited rubbish . We had to take photos of the bins in case we were penalised for misuse . To operate the central heating required phone calls to the managing agents although the heating could have been set up prior to our arrival . Their response was so obtuse that we gave up trying to set the heating in the main living room and used a portable heater found in one of the bedrooms . We are a group of walking friends who have been renting similar properties 3 + times a year for 20 years so we know the generally high standard to be expected . We had to pay a circa £20 + damage waiver insurance to the managing agents based far from the property in the West Midlands at the time of booking which in 60 or so similar booking was a surprising and unwelcome first .

Very well furnished and equipped property with stunning location and views. Very spacious. Wonderful beds and bedding. Impressed with fire safety measures and emergency torches.

Just a couple of details: A small welcome pack of tea, coffee, and milk would be good. Also a pack of kitchen basics: (seen elsewhere in a small sealed bag) - washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, laundry powder, J cloth. In addition would have liked small hand towels, for kitchen and communal washroom.

Beautiful flat, very comfortable, spacious and with fantastic views of New Quay, each bedroom with an ensuite one of the best properties we have ever stayed in.

Great house in a great place with great views! Really beautiful place, decorated in a "beach house" style, with a lot of thought and effort gone in. From the kitchen table, you can watch dolphins swim in the harbour. One of the best houses I have stayed in!

My one and only complaint was that the lower bedroom floor was very hot, and the thermostat was marked "DO NOT TOUCH". The folk in the flat downstairs also found it very hot. Having said that, I never got round to asking the hosts if there was any way to turn it down!
