The Luxe 8th St Suite

The kitchen, bathroom, living room, everything was clean and easy to use. The owner is really kind.. It was quiet in the residential area at night. Very convenient as it's close to downtown Washington DC.

Plenty of space, two bathrooms which was nice to keep our personal space, even if our other guests showed up, we still had plenty of space. Metro was very close which was a key element for our trip.

Only one person had access to the lock, luckily we were on the same schedule but if we were on different schedules for the weekend it would have proven difficult.

Everything was great, the apartment is beautiful and located in a nice, safe neighborhood! Good communication with the host all the time. We rented a car and were able to move around all the city without a problem, we didn't used public transportation as everybody suggest, there are plenty garages to park close to all the places we visited.

Nothing to worry if you do it ahead of time, but be prepared to install an app in your phone before arriving. You'll need it to open the building door and then a code will be provided to open the apartment door. Just take it in consideration in case you don't have internet to install it when you arrive. They work perfectly as long as you follow the instructions you receive.

Beautiful spotless apartment. Great host. Kitchen/shower well equipped if you wanted to cook in. Took a few hours to get our bearings. Stairs might be a problem for the less fit people. We were 3 sisters on vacation all in our late 70s. Booking made by my husband Jim who was not with us on this trip.

Host is very helpful and thoughtful. The condo location is ideal for accessing museums and for enjoying local eateries and culture.

Like the name suggests, this apartment is luxurious. Very clean, very comfortable and high-tech. The owner was very helpful and nice, even though we never met (everything was discussed through the app or Whatsapp). Got some suggestions for the local food and they didn't disappoint. Location is very good. One bus station was across the street and another line 5 minutes away. Subway 10 minutes away by foot.

Nice stylish apartment, responsive host and great location

The location was close to the city center. Great layout for families. Clean, updated.

The apartment is absolutely fantastic, very comfortable and very well equipped. There are two TV's too, which meant no fights with the children for the TV remote in the mornings. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher and there is also a washing machine and tumble dryer that we made full use of. The wifi could have been a bit faster but it wasn't a problem. The apartment is in a good area with lots of yummy restaurants around (totally recommend the pizza at Timber and the fried chicken at Honey Moon) but also quiet in the morning and evenings. The metro is only a short walk away (about 10 minutes), and the green line takes you to the downtown area very quickly.

The check in process could be improved. Access to the property is through a keyless, online system, and we struggled to get it working straight away on our British mobile phones. Luckily my husband had bought an American sim card and eventually got it working. Once we got it set up, it was very easy and straight forward to use. Maybe the issue was with our non-American phones and it will be fine for everyone else.

The Property was clean, secured and well located.
