GBBeautiful traditional cottage with a lot of characteristics that we loved! Cosy and comfortable. Contained everything essentially needed, if not more! Straight forward access to the beach and town. Stunning views from the summerhouse, didn't get the opportunity to use the sauna as we were lucky to have beautiful hot weather and was sweating it off enough haha!
Although it didn't bother us, the steps up and down to the summerhouse are a bit tricky. No hand rail or occasional hand grip going up which may make it a bit difficult for some. If anything my wife was more concerned about damaging the beautiful plants and flowers around them, which were stunning!
GBThe location in the heart of Barmouth. Parking ticket worked well once the right car park was located. The summer house has the most fantastic views and is worth the walk up the steep narrow path (slippery when wet) it would be even better with a little fridge.
We did not get the welcome email with the correct entry code. We had to phone the owner once we found the property, the reply was reassuringly prompt. The stunning views are entirely from the summer house and sauna. The advertisement led us to believe we could at least see the sea from the house. Sorting out the bins was confusing as instructions did not match reality! The kitchen/lounge/diner is a bit cramped it would be a squeeze with four. Not sure the lounge thermostat had any influence on the heating panel it seemed to be on full all the time.

GBCottage was beautiful. The views, especially from the lovely sauna were stunning. The cottage itself was very cute and extremely comfortable with everything you needed. It's beautifully presented and the location, overlooking the harbour and estuary were breathtaking.
The tiered garden definitely needs handrails, lovely but very narrow and the stairs were uneven. Taking our dog out in the dark was a challenge and we resorted to taking him round to the beach instead. Also, mainly due to roadworks on the main road, we couldn't get the car close to the house and so had to shuttle everything from the town car park. Without the roadworks, this would have been easier but reversing into Gibraltar Lane would be a challenge anyway and there are a number of steps to traverse in any event. But this should not put anyone off, just be prepared.

Uncomfortable seating in lounge and back door to the garden difficult to open.
GBI highly recommend this place; it's much nicer than the photos! The views are spectacular, the location is ideal, and the interior is cozy. It has everything you need and has been decorated with love.
