Needs to be upgraded and aircon/fans available for when wind fails which is often as you can’t open windows.

We arrived at 13h45 and the apartment was dirty, kitchen bin overflowing, dirty carpets, dirty kitchen, chicken bones in the oven, etc. and not a cleaner in sight. The apartment looked nothing like the website at all. We cancelled the booking and never stayed there. Having seen the apartment, I was totally traumatised and would not have been able to stay there nor cook anything in the kitchen.

Cockroaches running around inside the apartment. Reported it but received no response. Iron was defective. Requested a working one to iron clothes but got no response. Two of the shutters weren't fully functional. Reported it and got no response. Unpleasant smell daily in the passage outside the apartment. Pots in the kitchen of bad quality, pot lid without handle. Handles of the pots got very hot during cooking. The cheap price is probably suitable to the low and rundown quality of the apartment. Color scheme of the living room is sad and boring. The photos on the website look far better than the real thing.

The biggest reason we booked your apartment was to have aircon, as it was one of the hottest days in Cape Town.Sadly we only got a type of portable aircon in the living room that didn't cool the bedrooms. In general the apartment didn't feel clean, as there were so many flies(and no fly swat or spray).The carpets are extremely old and stained and appeared dirty. The general condition needs attention, crockery was chipped, only one wineglass,blinds not working properly, so many little things that makes the apartment seem very delapidated. We were honestly very dissapointed.
