Este espaço é um dos melhores espaços onde alguma vez tive, sossegado, com uma vista excecional, uma calma imensa, onde fazemos um check in automático, onde temos a cozinha mais equipada de SEMPRE, quem tem crianças e bebés sabe bem quão importante isto é, uma casa de banho também muito bem equipada e limpinha, com uma base de duche que não deita água para fora e com um chuveiro multifunções muito agradável. Sabe também muito bem a piscina ser a 5 minutos a pé, porque efetivamente torna o espaço ainda mais isolado, privado e exclusivo para a família que está. Um agradecimento muito especial aos anfitriões, que foram muito simpáticos e nada intrusivos!

A casa em si, toda a decoração e o essencial para uma estadia de curta duração.

O facto de termos que andar 200 metros até a piscina, muito difícil para quem tem crianças e pessoas com pouca mobilidade. A localização é longe de Mértola, e principalmente termos reservado um quarto para 3 pessoas e foi comunicado momentos antes da estadia que o quarto seria para 3 pessoas, mas teríamos que pagar uma cama extra, não foi justo porque quando reservamos foi para 3 e não devia ser imposto o valor, o quarto de 3 devia assegurar dormida para as 3.

The house itself was very nice, just wish we could have enjoyed it for the duration of our stay. The hosts were nice and friendly, despite the all the blunders during our stay.

Contrary to what the name suggests, the house is not on a farm (monte) but by the roadside in a cluster of small privately owned houses. The pool and breakfast, which we didn't opt for, are on the main building which is some distance away. We got to stay on the house for just 2 out of 6 days, not counting arrival and departure. On our second morning we woke up to construction works on the house in front (which is owned by the same hosts) with vehicles arriving and people moving around the house at around 07h30 and a very loud petrol power generator stationed next to our house walls firing up at around 08h00. We've immediately reported to the hosts but only had a callback from them at around lunch time. In the meantime we had to leave the house as it was unbearable to be there. Despite asking for the works to be stopped or the generator moved, the solution offered was to move us to a room in the main house which we unfortunately accepted. I now regret not asking for our money back and trying to find an alternate location. The room was old, small and the mattress gave us back pains for the 3 nights (4 days) we had to stay there. We've moved back to the house on the last day so we could try to get some sleep ahead of the long drive back the following morning so we had to pack and move everything for the second time. At least we got some rest that night and wondered how nice it would have been if we got to enjoy the house for the full stay. The hosts still charged the full price and never offered a compromise. The hosts mentioned they were hoping for the new house to be finished as soon as possible so I assume that is why no one bothered to stop the workers from coming while we were there. They mentioned that they had then cancelled bookings in the following weeks but that the damage was done and were were the ones that suffered with that.
