Once Upon a Time

Part of a converted convent, so full of character. Big space; vaulted ceilings. Has its own separate entrance via a private walled courtyard. King size bed. The modern bathroom also has a washing machine. Extremely quiet, but still so close to the old city.

We noticed there was no toaster in the kitchen space.

host was kind and very accommodating Every detail was carefully thought out. Lovely refreshments and comforts of home.

The host Elisabetta was wonderful, very helpful in passing on all we needed to know. The location is great for accessing the city centre, we were able to walk everywhere. The room is very spacious, and had great facilities to be able to have your own food. The room itself nestles in a private court and separate area, with key controlled access which was great!

The location was great, just outside of the centre but still in a lively area. The room felt very authentic and special to be in. The outside area was a lot bigger than we expected and felt very private. Other than that the facilities were super clean and organised.

I would have liked to keep the doors open for some fresh air but was afraid too many mosquitos would come in. Maybe it would be nice with a mosquito net because in the garden there were quite a lot.

We highly recommend this very safe and secure cosy apartment in a great location for easy walking to the historic centre of Bologna, also to the lovely Giardini Margherita for an early evening gelato. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from nearby, but no noise can be heard in the apartment. Breakfast supplies, including milk, bottled water and coffe machine, are provided. We particularly enjoyed eating lunch in the private courtyard. Host Elisabetta was excellent, and nothing was too much trouble for her. Grazie mille.

A clear indication of the B&B at the outside of the gate would be great!

The fully equipped place is at a great location with all services and free parking on a nearby street. Host is very friendly, helpful, accommodating and supplied with precision all required instructions to access the room.

Loved the private courtyard and the property was charming with everything you need and lots of little extras. Snacks, refreshments and essentials provided which added to the overall experience. excellent service from Elisabetta who quickly dealt with questions and helped immediately with any issues. Perfectly situated close to centre and also close to park / green spaces and beautiful scenery.

Nothing really- Lovely property but a bit of noise outwith control eg very early risers staying above and can hear every footstep clomping around. Lot of dog barking too but that’s fairly normal if your going to stay in a city.

The place consists of one room and a bathroom, but has all necessary facilities. The room is very nicely organized and our host Elisabetta treated us with sweets and coffee and various other perks. We were accomodated in a 17th century building, which used to be a convent and had our proper internal garden. We enjoyed very much the cosy place and its excellent location!
