The Hive - beautiful studio with amazing hot tub

Fantastic stay. Great and comfortable facilities in a secluded spot. First time using a log fired hot tub and was a great and peaceful experience in a small clearing in the woodland. Jane and Marcus were very harm hosts. A very relaxing escape

Hosts were exceptionally welcoming, and exceedingly helpful. The studio has a fresh airy ambiance, surrounded by natures beauty, free of noise and disturbance. The warmth from the orange flickering flames of the wood burner soon warmed us up after an evening spent in the hot tub, strategically placed beneath the open sky, giving a sense of peace, with dimmed lights, and warm gentle bubbles soothing the body. You will be sure to curl up and have a deep sleep as you sink into the satisfyingly snug bed.

I honestly cannot fault the Hive.

Private and well appointed …the owners were so genuinely nice and helpful. They said we could make as much noise as we wanted … not that we’re rowdy … but they made us feel really comfortable and were incredibly helpful when we requested a few things. The wood burning hot tub worked a treat…. this is a very quiet and peaceful place … in beautiful nature. Highly recommended!

Ideal spot for peace and relaxation! Marcus and Jane have thought of everything, really lovely people, and very welcoming. Would definitely recommend this gem of a location and look forward to returning in the future!

We loved everything! The communication prior to the check-in date was incredibly informative including the welcome pack which was a wonderful touch. Thorough details were provided regarding access which overall made arrival stress-free. From the second we arrived, Jane and Marcus made us feel so welcome. Their kindness, sense of humour and wealth of knowledge of the area made standing in the rain whilst they explained how to use the hot tub (we agreed to have the tour in the rain... Sorry guys!) a real pleasure. They were always willing to help us and kept us informed through the whole process and the WhatsApp group for instant communication was so helpful. I couldn't fault this place at all and would certainly recommend it to any couple looking for a peaceful and beautiful time away together. The kitchen facilities allowed us to be completely independent, the bathroom is clean, good-sized with a lovely powerful shower. The bed had beautiful linen and was quite possibly the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. The wood burner meant that we were toasty the entire time (perfect for a cold, wet February weekend) and the TV facilities were perfect for the evenings. Outside, the hot tub was wonderful. To be honest, if there's a hot tub you're already off to a winner with us but this was perfect. A beautiful, serene setting, nothing but woodlands, fields and wildlife around us, it was the best place to relax. The campfire area was gorgeous and the only thing that would have made it better would be if my partner and I possessed the ability to keep a fire lit for longer than 2 minutes! A late Valentines celebration due to our busy and conflicting work schedules meant that this weekend was well and truly needed. We left feeling completely relaxed, disgustingly in love and totally content with life. To put it simply, it's perfect.
