Loved the location! A beautiful villa in a jungle like area with absolute stunning views. The photos in Booking.com are pretty spot on. A short 10 min Grab ride away to City center. 5 bedrooms each with own bathroom and air conditioning, lots of privacy and space, including a big open air communal space. I really appreciated the mosquito nets around the beds. Definitely need it in the jungle! I found the tiered 3-4 floor layout to be fun and unique and gave the villa a lot of character, although some folks may find climbing the stairs between the floors arduous/annoying. The staff were very friendly, responsive, and accommodating. Our family (8 of us, including 2 kids) also enjoyed the breakfast that was served each morning by the lovely staff. Veggie scrambled eggs were yummy!

Some more careful maintenance around the facility I think can really elevate the facility to a new level. For instance, wiping off the bat droppings on the beautiful marble floor in the communal space on a frequent basis would help keep the space cleaner and more sanitized. There were also some stains on the communal area pillows. Cleaning the mosquito nets around the beds will be helpful to remove stains. The door to one of the rooms (the very top one near the tram) did not close well (need to be fixed). May also be good to have a small couch with a coffee table in that same top room. I didn't have any issues with it (I actually liked it because I consider it exercise!), but there are stairs to climb down and up to reach the villa, so those with mobility issues may find the location of the villa challenging. There is a fun little tram to help alleviate the need to climb some of those stairs near the bottom, which was a nice fun surprise. We saw a couple of rats in one of the kitchens and in the communal space, but not surprised because the villa is in a jungle like area and the set up of the villa is almost all open space except for the bedrooms. Just hope they are not nesting into the villa anywhere. There are also ants, spiders, other bugs, lizards and other critters as well, but it's part of the experience staying in a villa that's located in a jungle like area! The marble flooring is beautiful, but it can get really slippery when wet, especially after a rainstorm or coming back into the room after showering in the bathroom with flip flops. I slipped and fell hard. Luckily, I didn't break anything, but I did have some bruises from the fall. So need to be very careful.

This villa in Ubud was absolutely unforgettable! Tucked away in the heart of the jungle, it offered breathtaking views that felt like something out of a dream. The villa’s design blended modern elegance with the surrounding natural beauty, creating a feeling of a magical retreat. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere felt enchanting. The villa was beautifully lit, and the charming outdoor elevator that descends to the villa added a unique touch. Each room boasted stunning views, and the shared spaces were perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. The staff went above and beyond, offering exceptional service with genuine warmth. They prepared a delicious breakfast for us right in the villa, which was such a treat! If you’re seeking a luxurious and peaceful escape in Bali, this villa in Ubud is a true gem. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
