Slight issue with downstairs shower

The beds were comfy and clean. The garden area nice albeit my comments regarding the outdoor seating cushions - needed upgrading. Location to the village centre was good however we went into 2 pubs for food one of the days and one told us they no longer serve food, the other stopped at 4pm so we ended up getting a carry out.

Cleanliness of the downstairs area needed more attention. Only one sofa then 2 hard chairs, would have been better to have more comfy seating to suit all 4 visitors. The plates, knives and forks were only enough for 4 people, could have been a few spare so we didnt have to keep washing straight away and also to place things like cakes etc rather than eat off a plate then wash it to do so. The water temperature in the downstairs shower was not hot enough, tried to turn up but didnt change. The cushions for the outside seating area were unclean with dirty marks all over them - should have been cleaned and also waterproof would be an advantage rather than having to keep taking out and putting away.

Beautiful house, beautiful garden, exceptionally well equipped, very close to town centre.

Very well equipped and beautifully decorated house. Ideal location for Uppingham town and Rutland. Comfortable beds, high quality bedding and towels. Kitchen ideal for cooking and a great garden area.
