Entire Venue with Accommodation Sleeps up to 19 - Waterfall Country Escape Wales

The accommodation was perfect for my hen party. Had everything we needed. Lovely Della was next door to help with anything we needed. Was also a 5 min walk from a beautiful waterfall.

The property is quite unique and has a certain charm to it. It was reasonably well located for getting to waterfalls and mountains, but the village itself is very small and has only one small shop. There was plenty of space for our group.

We found a used needle and bloodstains under one of the beds. We reported this during our stay, but the owner didn't respond immediately. After we had left and they finally responded, they claimed the cleaning company checks under all of the beds and denies this being there from the previous guests. This put a massive dampener on the whole stay as we could no longer be confident in the four young children in our group being safe, let alone ourselves. We asked for a refund of the cleaning fee, which doesn't feel unreasonable, but the owner basically just ignored us.

Rooms were really comfortable and handy having them as separate apartments away from rest of area. Kitchen was fully equipped and great having the games area too.

Would have been good to have shampoo/conditioner and body wash in each of the ensuite bathrooms. But just a minor thing as everything else was there

This place is epic - previously a pub and still has everything there as it presumably was when it was a functioning pub. The rooms are separate upstairs and it's pretty ace having the whole place to yourself including a fantastic big kitchen. Also the outside area has seating and there are also some picnic tables out front with a beautiful view. The host was very helpful organising hot tubs for us and extending for an extra night. She was also very kindly waiting there for our online shopping order as we arrived a bit late and thought we might miss it. We walked to the nearby waterfall which was lovely too. This is a gem of a place and I definitely hope to come back.

Overall the venue is great for what we were after. It has a warm feeling as soon as you arrive and the apartments are clean, well laid out and very comfortable. The owner (Della) is a lovely lady and will help you out if you experience any little niggles during your stay. Everything is thought of and we didn't want for anything. We stayed for 4 nights with 6 pound children and there was plenty to keep them entertained. Would highly recommend as a family.
