Faro: Casa Trevo com terraço BBQ

Excellent property just a ten minute walk from the old town and 10 minute drive from the airport. It was a quiet location with on street parking available if required (although Ubers are super cheap so no need to hire a car unless travelling long distances). The whole place was spotlessly clean and had good facilities (aircon, wifi, hair dryer, straighteners, washing machine etc). The beds were comfy and all linen / towels were provided. The bathrooms and kitchen were modern and well equipped. The roof terrace was lovely - we staying the middle of September and you can easily sit out in the sun until 7.30pm. When it gets dark, there’s lots of little fairy lights which means you can continue to stay on the terrace. The addition of a bbq is a great idea! Hosts were very friendly and helpful. There was good communication and they kindly let us check in a little early, which was greatly appreciated. The property is easy to access with keys stored in a lock box. If you don’t mind a short walk to the old town, I would highly recommend this apartment.

La calle, al final de la calle se veía gente que vivía en chabolas

Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et conciliants. Nous avons pu avoir les clés en avance à l'arrivée de notre avion. De plus, un apéro et une corbeille de fruits nous attendaient... Un petit message en milieu de séjour pour savoir si nous ne manquions de rien... Quartier proche du centre ville. Tout était parfait !

La terraza

L’appartamento è molto bello, due bagni con doccia molto grande, entrambe le stanze hanno l’armadio per poter mettere i propri vestiti. Terrazza molto bella, perfetta per fare cenette dopo una giornata in spiaggia

Purtroppo noi eravamo in 6 e la casa non è adatta per così tante persone. È perfetta per 4 persone. Inoltre nella stanza con i letti a castello non c’è l’aria condizionata e la notte fa caldo.

The amenities. The house has a full functioning kitchen with every tool that I needed for a short stay and good quality pots and pans. Great towels by the way! Coherent decoration style. Oh, and the washing machine! necessary for a weeklong trip. We were able to get to so many different restaurants within 5 to 10 minutes by car. I was also concerned about parking since I took a rental car but there was always street parking right in front of the house no matter what hour we came. I wouldn't hesitate to visit Portugal again and I wouldn't hesitate to book this home again.

there is no AC in the second bedroom so my children couldn't sleep in there as it was a bit hot. But the master bedroom was big enough for us to move a mattress in there.
