La Mason dla Grà

Cette maison est très originale tout en pierre et bois. Village avec une âme les habitants très sympa.Restaurant Mason Bartrume Top vaut le détour avec plats authentiques bien cuisinés. Tourisme ds la vallée Soana et Gran Paradiso.Rivieres et marmottes!!! ... nombreux sentiers.

Ein ganz besonderer Ort voller Charme und Geschichte Die Unterkunft La Mason dla Grà ist ein wahres Schmuckstück – ein liebevoll restauriertes, historisches Gebäude aus dem 14. Jahrhundert. Man spürt überall den Respekt vor der Geschichte, denn das Haus diente einst als casaforte für die Esskastanienwirtschaft. Schon der Name „Grà“, piemontesisch für Esskastanien-Trocknungsplatz, erzählt von dieser Tradition. Die Renovierung ist perfekt gelungen: Traditionelle Architektur mit Steinmauern und alten Holzelementen wurde bewahrt und mit modernem Komfort kombiniert. Das Ambiente ist warm und authentisch, und man fühlt sich sofort willkommen. Ein idealer Ort für alle, die Ruhe, Natur und einen Hauch Geschichte suchen.

La Mason dla Grà was fantastic! This beautifully restored property was such a delight to stay in, with beautiful stone and wood throughout. It was great to hear some of the history of the house, especially from Francesca and how her father restored the house. Francesca also told us a lot about the town and surrounding areas and local history - which we loved! Very comfortable and spacious. The surrounding countryside, the town and the views of the Alps were all beautiful. The drive to the house is scenic and once there the views are well worth the mountain drive. We had no problem driving to/from Torino for a day of sightseeing. Only wish we could have stayed more than 2 nights. Highly recommend and would love to stay again!

The internet was poor to non-existent. We spent a lot of time on our own and with Francesca trying to get it to work, who was wonderful and very, very nice and persistent. She finally got it working after about an hour's effort, but after returning that night from Torino it was out again. We understand this is a remote location, and Francesca explained service can drop, but this should be explained in the listing. We made the best of it, but the unexpected lack of internet was inconvenient for 2 days/nights.

Everything is amazing. Hosts area amazing, property is amazing, location is amazing.
