It's close to a good source of beer.

I didn't enjoy having to share my bathroom with the pub patrons, because, well, cleanliness. The ski storage room (not heated) is tiny which would be fine if it was better set up, but due to user error it's a bit of an s fight. I'm not sure why the pick up for the shuttle bus to the ski hill is organized for 15 minutes after the lifts have already opened.

Nat and the staff were friendly and really helpful. We stayed in the quad share Japanese Tatami room and it was clean, comfortable and enough room for the 4 of us. The futons were comfortable to sleep on. It had a beautiful view out the window of the trees and snow. The shared bathroom was very clean and functional. The location is great being only a few minutes drive to Appi Kogen ski resort and the onsen. We had a wonderful stay and would recommend to others!

Very clean, warm and friendly place with an excellent bar downstairs serving fantastic beers and good quality bistro pub food.

Nice location and building Bar was nice.

No fridge or microwave in the room ( standard in Japan). Bar guests use the same shared toilet as the hotel guests.... Not ideal.

The view from the room is nice.

First time they dont ask for my passport at check in. The floor is quite dirty. There is a bar on the top so drunk kids go up and down all the time on a busy night. They only give 1 towel and charge 300¥ for an extra one. The bed, which I made myself, had 1 sheet and the blanket cover has a huge hole in it which makes it not really sanitary. The staff is not Japanese and you hardly see them, nobdoy checks who comes and goes.
