Optimale Lage, um die Innenstadt von Galway zu Fuß zu erkunden. Frühstück sehr gut, Personal freundlich und hilfsbereit.

Teilweise abends oder früh morgens (Müllabfuhr, Straßenreinigung) etwas laut - es lagen aber Ohrenstöpsel bereit (dafür Pub im EG und mitten in der City). Aufschließen der Zimmer mit App und Code etwas tricky, aber das Personal hat schnell geholfen.

The location was fantastic. The Bar down stairs had great bands. The room was clean. Self Check In was clever and easy. Tea and coffee was reasonable. Room size was reasonable. Double bed pushed against wall to create floor space.

This was a disaster of a stay. It started out with no water on the entire premises so could not use the facilities. This was resolved in a few hours. Breakfast was included in the cost of the room but breakfast was served from 9. I needed to be out for work by 7:30. I ask to exchange supper for breakfast and this was dismissed. Feel swindled out of my money to have to pay for something that is not served at an appropriate industry standard time for hospitality. The noise from the street including beer truck exchanging the kegs in early hours of the morning and bar down stairs was unbearable. The band and music was rocking but 2:30 in the morning is not good. Ear plugs provided but this is not a place for relaxation. This is best suited for persons on the piss and able to pass out and ignore noise. The staff are not interested in understanding the inequitable outcome of charge versus good customer experiences. I did politely ask for an alternative solution to the poor timing of breakfast and recommended that they be more descriptive regarding the accommodation noise and include an accommodation option that did not include breakfast. I received a dismissive acknowledgement. "Noted" I recommend this place for a piss up but not for sleeping.

Location is central, near Eyre Square in Galway.

The room is immediately above the pub that offers live music on Thursday until 2 am. Sound coming from the pub was measured in the room above 80 dBA, which are not the best conditions for sleeping.
