Kasu Lodge - Radford, Nottingham

Location was good and the accommodation was cheap. It had everything we needed, including a fridge.

Our stay was impacted heavily by the other tenants. When we arrived, the place smelled heavily of marijuana, there were people up and down the stairs all night, roughly every 30-45 minutes, meeting people and cars. In the morning, we found that someone had projectile vomited all through the bathroom. To be fair, this is out of the control of the owner. Also, there was some rubbish left in the room from previous tenants, only one towel, no toiletries and the desk was not far from collapsing.

The location.

The shower had moulds on the walls unclean, the room had a stale odour, the rug in the room had stains.

The property is in a good location, good shops around and if driving you’re not too far from hucknall or into Nottingham around 15-20minute drive from either. The property was value for money, I paid £95 for 2x nights and I got what I paid for, A bed to sleep in and a mirror was all I needed so I was set. It’s definitely not a hotel you go to if you’re wanting comfort or decency but it does the job for somewhere to stay after a night out.

The property just wasn’t really what was advertised, I felt it was advertised as more of a hotel and when we got there it was like a shared accommodation vibe. Maybe I read the advert wrong but. It stated on the facilities it had a hairdryer and there was no hairdryer in the room or what we could see in communal areas of the property.

The staff I called was very accessible which was good.

The property is not properly cleaned. The toilet and shower was filthy and so were the carpets in the hallway, stairs, and rooms. There’s only one toilet and shower for a four double room property. There was only I roll of toilet paper to share among guests. When my family and I arrived there were guests in room 1 downstairs who were smoking and there was the smell of tobacco everywhere and they were loud.

It's not bad but I ordered a twin room and got a twin bed...the number for the key was wrong so had to badger the owner for 5 hours...finally got the number only to have to get a hotel due to sleeping conditions

Nothing. It was awful. It is close to the city though.

It is absolutely FILTHY! I don't think it has seen a cleaner or maintenance man since it was opened. The window didn't close either so the party that went on until 5am at the back was not ideal! We nearly slept in the car. Oh and there is no blind so it is so bright in the room. I think we got 30 mins sleep.
