High-Floor Oasis: City Center Gem with Pool View

The only thing I like was it's proximity to nearby places, everything was about 15 to 20 mins away.

Where do I even begin, omg, the host was plain old ignorant the management was hopeless the apt condition was horrible I'm not one to nit-pick on every small inconvenience, but take it from me. The apartment was dirty, the trash from the previous tenant was still in the house, there were flies coming from the trash bag, the pillowcases stunk, there were 2 fans in the hall, one did not work at all, there was an empty bottle of soap dispenser in the bathroom, the iron board was stripped, there was only the frame, no board. They took 2 hours to give their wifi password. Nobody was picking up my calls, not the host, not the management. The bathroom was also dirty, so many stains and some bathroom flies in there. I had to go to 99 speedmart to buy my own supplies to stay there. I've never been so frustrated with a stay before this, this is the very first bloody time. I'll never ever book from this guy again. Filthy! and irresponsible! The only reason I booked was because I read positive reviews from their ad here and I regret it so much.

This apartment was properly maintained to the point, I could feel the security guard was too strict sometimes. But that didnt bother us much cause we were a family of three, so 1 access card was enough for us. We saw a big group standing outside the gate, waiting for their host to pick them up. If you are coming here in a big group, do ask for additional access card, or else it will be such a hassle to move around the apartment. You need access card for the lift and the security wont allow the food delivery to deliver the food to your unit. This apartment comes with big swimming pool at level 7. Since there are apartment blocks surrounding the swimming pool, you dont need to worry about the hot weather while swimming. There are plenty of parking, and you dont need to wait so long for the lift. I think that is a plus point! Location of the apartment is nearby places we would like to visit: Ee Ji Ban, Jonker Street. But do still expect 30 min of drive due to the traffic despite the short distance. This unit can fit 6 pax. 2 pax on double bed, 1 pax on single bed, 1 pax on sofa bed and 2 pax on additional mattress. Instruction to the unit was clear except that the host shared a wrong unit number in the screenshot picture, but we managed to go to the right unit anyway.

Pool is closed from 1.30pm to 3.00pm, so do plan your swimming time properly. Kid could not swim beyond 6.45pm. Due to the location of the swimming pool, there will be a lot of echo whenever somebody is using the swimming pool, I didnt mind the noise but just writing this down in case if anybody would mind that. The unit (not the apartment) was poorly maintained. There were a lot of broken appliances / items not being replaced. Ie: shower head holder, pipe holder. No toiletries were being prepared, so please bring your own toiletries. There was small drying rack (malay: rak tuala) prepared but there was no places for you to hang your jeans. There was iron but the iron board was broken. Mugs were not properly cleaned, so please wash everything before you use them. Overall, this unit was still in a live-able state, so you can still stay here as long as you are aware about the condition of the unit. Lastly, the check out time is 11am. Staying longer than 11am will cost you an additional RM50 per hour. Mind you, the cleaner was punctual. We dropped the key at 11.00am at the mailbox, and the cleaner was just waiting for us to lock the mailbox before she could take out the key.

- staff was quick and responsive considering I made a same day booking when many other choices were fully booked. - check in instructions were clear - unit was furnished with games console and TV box which was a bonus for kids entertainment - equipped with main necessities for a short stay including cutleries, microwave, fridge freezer, fast WiFi, towels, hangers, toiletries - location was great away from the hustle and bustle, quiet part of malacca but still within a short drive to the centre - mattresses were very comfy after a long drive being stuck in traffic - for the amount paid (school holidays), we got alot for it

Not major: -unit could do with a lick of paint, dusting in ceiling corners. The rest of the unit was clean and there was no musky smell or sewerage smell from the toilet (which condos tend to have) - happened to experience a short power cut, although no issues faced the rest of the stay Tips for travellers: - during busy periods, take the lift up so you can get into the lift to the carpark downstairs - book your slot to the splash pool/pool in advance if it is peak season

The appartment large with good cooling with aircon and fan.

The place is far from the sites of Melaka such as Jonker street. 30 minute by car. The television did not work. The manual left did not clearly give details of how to use water heater hence a cold shower. The internet did not work.
