"Avoid at all costs! Dirty propery and terrible staff!"

The house has a lot of potential but it is dirty and unkept!

We arrived around 4:30pm, check in was 3pm. On arrival the front of the house looked dirty with rubbish by the door and cobwebs around the front door. The property was filthy when we arrived, dirty kitchen floor, food on the living room floor and a garden with cigarette butts. The cleaner was in the property when we arrived. I asked the man who was cleaning why the house was not ready yet and he responded saying the office should have let me know. I called the number provided by the property and was informed they had a maintenance issue and I should have informed them what time I was checking in which is diabolical considering check in was 3pm. The cleaner continued cleaning the house, whilst we had to move around in different dirty rooms of the house to allow him to continue cleaning. We couldn’t sit outside as the garden was dirty with overgrown grass, old rusty and dirty chairs and cigarette butts and rubbish on the floor. We had plans to check in, leave our bags and go into town which we now were unable to do as our bags didn’t have locks and there was no secure place to do so whilst the cleaner was still in the property. As a result our plans were spoilt due to the incompetence of this property. The cleaner then left as he had to go and get pillow cases and came back later to continue cleaning. He did not finish until after 6:30pm and the house was not properly cleaned. None of the cushion covers were washed, cleaned or disinfected after the last stay, there were dead insects and flies on window seals and a storage room full of dirty laundry which stunk! The property is advertised as a 3 bed, 2 bath property with WiFi, the WiFi stopped working and we had no WiFi from Saturday morning. This was reported to the property who said what would try and get us a dongle but again they could not deliver this before 12pm when we were leaving the property.
