House On Blyde

Christine the host setup a perfect engamemt dinner and facilities for us! My proposal went exceptionally well due to this and her great hosting skills.. 10 /10. Looking forward to revisiting , the river behind the property and and roaming zebras n hippos and buck make it more relaxing!

Everything about the place • It is huge ,clean, and quiet with all the amenities that one can think of. The owners are very friendly and very helpful•They are upfront with all the local information,we did not have to ask anything as they told us all we needed to know upfront•We did enjoy the natural sound of the 'gushing' river just in front of the property.It offers easy access to the' Drie rondavels' and the Blyderivierdam in the Blyde River Canyon.

What an incredible house. Honestly couldn't fault it. We extended another night. The couple who host are super friendly and welcoming. They also sent us recommendations for things to do in the area and restaurants which was super helpful. Comfy beds, lovely bath and well equipped kitchen. Also great brei! The view is stunning and we were lucky to have some Zebras come to visit in the garden which was magical.

What is not to like about this amazing property, it is located within a botanical resort, with nature surrounding you. The Blyde river that flows by is right on your doorstep, you wake up to the sound of loads of different birds and the cackling of the monkey’s and go to bed with the grunting sound of the hippos, absolutely amazing can’t recommend this place enough. The hosts are phenomenal and so accommodating and can’t do enough for you, the property was spotless and even had all the little necessities in, the communication is spot on and they made sure we knew all about the amazing places you can visit while you there. 10/10 thanks for giving us this experience

There is nothing that you can’t like about this property, a bonus would of been a upstairs toilet for the oldies, but the host has told us that this is already in the pipeline, it definitely was NOT A DEAL BREAKER for us

Beautiful location, right next to the Blyde River… which was in flood!

Spacious, comfortable home perfect for a family sharing the accommodation for a few days. We had everything we needed and enjoyed relaxing in the peaceful garden next to the river. The zebra and kudu walking by and the majestic views were a highlight of our stay.

Could have the option of summer bedding (bed sheets) but the air conditioner worked very well! A couple of ceiling fans might be a nice addition one day. But
