Het Achterhuis - House Back Door

Locatie was heel goed. Het appartement zelf viel ons helaas heel erg tegen maar de eigenaar gaf toen gelijk aan dat we het alsnog kostenloos konden annuleren. Dat hebben we toen gedaan dus zeer fijn en positief dat dit kon.

Helaas viel de accommodatie ons erg tegen. We hadden dit geboekt ivm 2 aparte slaapkamers maar er was in de woonkamer een dun wandje geplaatst waar links en rechts een bed in stond (van wand tot wand) en voor die slaaphokjes was geen deur of gordijn. Dit kon je geen 2 slaapkamers noemen. Er hing een dun vaal gordijntje voor het raam zodat de kamer niet donker gemaakt kon worden. Verder was de inrichting erg gedateerd (op een grote tv en een beeldscherm na). Er lag nog een sok van een vorige gast. We vonden het erg duur voor dat wat we er voor kregen.

We arrived late and Elizabeth was there to meet us and assist. The way into the apartment is a bit concerning - but when you walk up the stairs and open the door it is a really pleasant surprise. The apartment is a quirky little place, right on the street and full of charm. Although small, it is very comfortable. The location is excellent. You walk up the street to the centre of town - lots of restaurants and a great little place to visit. This was a very pleasant stop for us - we just picked a random spot to have a day on the coast instead of in cities and this place was just the tonic.

You will be woken in the morning by dogs being walked and people chatting. We didn't mind this at all - just part of the charm. The only downside for us was that we were cold. To be fair, we just did not know how to use the heating but it was still a detraction from the stay.

The apartment was adorable and cosy Perfect to be better connected with my family we had such a great time All utilities where there The location was perfect a few minutes walk and Ur in the towncent And just a 10 to 15 minutes walk to the bus station and train station Thank you so much I will definitely comeback again
