"The location and setting was beautiful. Some of the interior could use an upgrade."

The mattress was very uncomfortable; like sleeping on a brick. We had to pull out the sleep sofa to get a better night's sleep. The air conditioner was VERY loud, which made sleep difficult.

The location was very convenient to so we wanted to see on our trip. Our room was newer, quite large for a “studio” unit.

No daily maid service, and we were asked to strip the beds and leave the sheets (with the used towels) in the tub at the end of our stay. It was a small thing, but something I don’t want to deal with on my vacation. I wish there had been screens in the windows. The weather was great and I wanted to open the windows for the breeze.

The place is very well situated. Accessible (on the island on route # 1, Wiscasset venues can be visited by foot), yet quiet, with wonderful views around, including sunset over broad Sheepscot River. It's a great hub to visit various harbours, islands and trails of Midcoast Maine. Very comfortable
