Nothing, it suited my needs
GBGBPerfect location off the M1, easy parking and easy access. Room was as described and as expected for the price. Happy to have a basic room at a cheap price. Plug socket by the bed was a bonus as was some toiletries in the shower and 2 arm chairs so I could sit somewhere other than the bed.
You have to put up with cooking smells from the restaurant and loud aeroplanes flying overhead. But I feel the inconvenience is reflected in the price. And if you want a room close to an airport, there are going to be planes!
GBGBThe location was great, just minutes from Loughboroug University. The Indian restaurant was a plus and secure parking.
The rooms were very basic, okay for the price but there was a smell, really untidy kitchen at the entrance and laundry just left in the passage. The sheets smelt badly. I had to use a large dress on the bed and thankfully had a pillow in the car. However, I could not use the duvet, so I got cold in the night as I had nothing to cover myself with. I now think the sheets were not changed after the previous guest. That is basic right?
GBIdeal location for an early morning flight. 24/7 Skylink bus service stops right outside. Only 8 mins to airport. Excellent Indian restaurant right next door offering 15% discount for guests. Other food outlets nearby. Very reasonably priced. Good value for money
On the flight path, so noisy at night. Confirmation email notified 'A damage deposit of GBP 50 is required on arrival'. Shower and toilet cubicle a little bit dated.
