The property was absolutely spotless. The owners obviously take great care to create accommodation to such a high standard. The host even supplied a one-off continental breakfast free of charge, as there were no cooked breakfasts in off-peak season.

The room was a good size and well stocked, the view over the loch was lovely and ideally located to explore the east and west coasts of the highlands

I have used Lochview many times for work travel and it's perfect. The location is beautiful and the hosts are beyond accommodating. I would recommend it for business or leisure.

The room was well decorated, and of an excellent size. Everything was clean, and there were some nice touches that I hadn't seen before, such as supply of cutlery and placemats because as there were no food facilities, takeaways were a limited option.

Unfortunately, as I am 6"1 and not the slimmest in the world, I suffered during the night as the single duvet was of a smaller size with cheaper quality innards and as such I kept waking up through the night with the duvet falling off. Also, as a point of note, it was really hot when we arrived in the room, so I had to open a window (it was Nov and -1'c) but when I woke during the night, the heating was off and the room was really cold.

There was no breakfast.
