Large Stylish Cambridge House (4BR/Free Parking)

Great space, nice and clean. Well equipped with everything we could possibly need.Plenty of utensils, bowls, plates and cups. Easy to find and close to shops. Added bonus of Co op trialing robot delivery which my children loved!

The flush in the ensuite toilet was a bit weak (needed to use a bowl to flush 😅)

Large comfortable sized property for a party of 7, there were plenty of places to sit both inside and out. The beds were comfortable and clean. With a fan in each bedroom it made the stay comfortable for all. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking with utensils, appliances and basic necessities like salt pepper and tea bags. There is a drive way to park your car and roadside parking available. We didn’t have any small children with us but there was a large playground in the estate. There’s a co-op and a Morrisons nearby and the bus into Cambridge is a 10 minute walk away meaning we could get into town and have a few beers without worrying about getting back.

The house was amazing and had everything we needed. The location was good and it was easy to get the bus into Cambridge and was walking distance to the supermarkets. There was a nice big garden which was used lots since it was so nice and sunny.

Great modern 4 bed room house tastefully furnished, equipped with all necessities, comfortable, perfect for what we needed.

This accommodation was booked for a group of 7. It was chosen because we had to consider the limited budget of certain members of the group. We read the reviews, good and bad and we decided to go ahead because it looked okay from the photos. If you are solely looking to save on accommodation costs, have a robust back and will eat takeaways only, this place might probably suit you. If you are looking for a hub where you can enjoy cooked meals together whilst creating happy memories and bonds, avoid this place. You will spend more time distracted by its defects than enjoying yourself. The stuffiness hits you as soon as you walk in. There were areas that were dusty, there were ants in the kitchen and cobwebs everywhere. The toilet in the shared bathroom had stains around it The under stairs cupboard had a revolting odour and the washing machine was dusty and smelly. The dining chair seats were worn out and one of the chairs was unstable. The light fitting over the dining table was dusty with cobwebs in it and the kettle needed descaling. The host was asked to send someone to sort out our concerns regarding the cleanliness. When the host arrived her attitude was patronising to the extent that we decided not to bring any further issues to her attention. The oven didn’t work properly. The fridge didn’t cool adequately. The were no storage facilities in the shared bathroom and there was an inadequate continuous hot water supply for our number forcing some to have cold showers. The mattresses offer minimal support and you can feel the springs in some of them. One of our group reported that it made a previous back problem flare up. Some of the windows did not offer any privacy treatments allowing all of Spitfire Road to see you once the curtains were drawn open. We were forced to keep the curtains closed thereby remaining in darkened rooms most of the time. The location is roughly half an hour’s drive to Cambridge. We would have preferred somewhere much closer.

The property was ideal for our family to celebrate our daughter’s graduation. The property is light, comfortable and spacious, with plenty of facilities and everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable.

It would have been nice to be closer to a pub so we didn’t have to drive!
