The Serene House Bed & Breakfast

The Serene House lives up to its name - it is truly a serene and relaxing place! The property itself is stunning, with views of the ocean from atop a lush hillside; the surrounding forest creates a quiet retreat for guests. We particularly loved going to sleep with the sounds of the coquis and owls just outside. Rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, and there are ample luxuries, such as a pool, patio, and common areas. Owners Pablo and Maribel seem to really love having guests - we enjoyed our conversations with them each morning as we planned our day, and Pablo wowed us with his cooking skills at each breakfast! They took time to answer our questions (identifying local birds), to give us dinner recommendations, and to ensure we saw some of the best of the island. The Serene House is a gem that we highly recommend!

Our stay was perfect. Couldn’t ask for anything better freshly cooked breakfast. Pablo was an excellent host. Will stay again in the future. Also, it was very peaceful great relaxation

First and foremost Pablo and Marebel are amazing host, great communication pre arrival to end. The property is simply amazing, private.. lush greenery... architecturally beautiful to look and stay at. The casitas were very comfortable and clean and had everything you could want. Beautiful view of the rainforest and ocean. Short distance to food and beaches and stores and rainforest. The breakfast was freshly prepared and choices even for vegetarians like us. We highly recommended this place, do not hesitate to book you will not be disappointed.

Meals were extraordinary. The gentleness of our hosts way: how they speak with us, there’s no question left unanswered but done so in a thoughtful way. Care for every detail in the house, the gardens, the pool yard. The hosts shared their affinity with the island, their knowledge of special places and people. The inn is unique in its size, design, beautiful in its curation, elegant in its openness.

Nothing else comes to mind.

10 out of 10 would definitely recommend. Maribel and Pablo were excellent host. It absolutely felt like I had spent a few days away with long time friends although, we had just met for the first time. The room was beautifully curated and smelled so fresh and so clean. The breakfast was a true culinary experience. Buen provecho! The salt water pool was warm and perfect for a good swim. The biodiverse grounds provided a truly “serene” atmosphere. Just a gem in every way.

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed in. We stayed in a separate building up the hill with a magnificent view and chorus from coqui frogs. The host Pablo was very talented at making us a delicious breakfast and providing us with information on things to do in PR. It was an amazing, beautiful, and tranquil stay.

The Serene House is stunning. Customer service was outstanding and food was amazing! We enjoyed our staying and looking forward to our next visit.

The property was beautiful. Grounds were perfectly manicured. The breakfast was delicious! Fresh fruit was perfect! You will not meet better people the Paublo and Maribel! They will whatever they can to make sure your stay is perfect! The Casita is wonderful. Really enjoyed the view of both the mountains and the Ocean. two beautiful beaches close by. The Casita was clean and neat. Shower had plenty of water pressure and was also very clean.

This place was so peaceful. Clean. Calm. Perfect for a get away. I came here alone and I had an amazing time. I felt safe at all times. Deff will be coming here every trip. 1000 stars if I could and the cheff cooks so good he needs to open uo his own restaurant! When you go here ask for the omelet bc it’s too tier !!!!!’ Loved every min I wish I could live here ! I stayed in the room with the garden view! Super clean place !
