Park and walk to city centre Cosy terrace

The house is a short walk from the centre of Chester where there is a lot to see and do

Only small issue was the kitchen had a very odd mix of cutlery and cooking utensils

The location was great, it’s a short walk to the centre to find places to eat, shops and visit sites such as the cathedral. There was free off street parking. We were provided with milk, tea and cooking oil amongst other various items which would have made cooking at the property easier, which was thoughtful. A high chair and stair gate were provided (requested upon booking) which was greatly appreciated. We were asked to install the stair gate ourselves, it was too wide for the stairs so we put it on our toddlers bedroom door frame.

Conscious it is advertised as a well decorated home some of the decor could do with a refresh - mainly the bathroom where there is evidence of mould stains on the walls and ceiling, the paint is cracked and pealing and the sealant around the base of the bath has come away etc. The property was also not fully clean - we had to wash pots and kitchen equipment before use and there were dusty cobwebs collected under the bathroom shelves and crumbs on the rug in the living room.

Like a home away from home, everything you could need for your stay and very clean.
