Quiet location, great directions from host. Local products left as a welcome gift, great to be able to a tea or coffee after a night shift locally.

The location and size of the property were fantastic. Beautiful grounds with lots of nature around. The log burner is really cosy!

The house wasn’t the cleanest, there were lots of cobwebs throughout, the bins were left dirty upon our arrival. The floor in the kitchen had rubbish in the corners and the shower in the en suite was pretty grubby, also some cups and cutlery still had food remains stuck to them. Also communication when we’ve asked questions weren’t very prompt at all, so if we’d had a problem then it’s already be solved before receiving a response.

The Orchard is a stunning house, beautifully appointed with 4 good bedrooms, the main one was huge with an en-suite and the family bathroom was fabulous. The kitchen, dining and living rooms were spacious and nicely decorated. Grounds were also beautiful. A quiet and peaceful space. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. Thank you.

Beautifully finished house with large rooms and huge garden, plastic plates and cups for the kids provided. We were also allowed early check in. The shower was also great and beds very comfortable. Great location for exploring areas around Northumberland and lots of shops close by

There were only 2 wine glasses and not enough tumblers.

Only thing we were not happy with we couldnt use the log burners they were not in use.
