Beautiful 3 bedroom home in the heart of Alnwick

Location was perfect.

It appeared that the cleaning was half done. The bedrooms and bathrooms were good. The kitchen however had food stuck to the tap handle, food around the oven and the floor was sticky. I cleaned it myself. The living room surfaces also weren’t wiped down, the coffee tables were sticky with a spilt drink. I wonder if it was rushed as the rest of the house was perfect. Noisy floors and doors!

Not having any outside space

Very clean, very comfy beds, excellent facilities and location

The inability to open the front door seemed like a fire risk, only one entrance / exit.

Location was very good - close enough to walk to Alnwick & the castle / gardens.

Minor inconvenience - I wanted to cook breakfast but the gas hob had no lighter so we had wait til later to go out to buy matches…. We had already left the property and then received the email asking us to do certain tasks on leaving etc… I assume it’s an automatically sent out but useful to be done the day before departure.
