The shower in the room

Muxima is very very very overrated. They are one of those places where the description tells you one thing and the reality is another much worse. - To begin with, access is impossible. Nothing more than that, if it were the Portuguese tourism authorities they would close it. Super steep dirt road, with some potholes and huge holes that each day put the car at risk (and I have a 4x4). - Muxima tells you that the accommodation is a haven of peace and it is absolutely false. Just whispering in one room rumbles in the others. The first night a couple arrived at 2 in the morning and although they did it carefully they woke up all the customers asking for silence. - They sell you breakfast as organic, but it's another of those lies to tourism that we swallow anything. The breakfast was very scarce, the eggs, for example, were normal, nothing organic that had a number 2 in the hard-boiled eggs. The tray of cut fruit and the bread was very good, but they put some pieces of sliced cheese or a piece of cake that were the same for three days. - My wife asked if they could make her a simple omelette, with two eggs, without more. The first day they made her some scrambled eggs protesting, but the other days she said very angry that my wife ate hard-boiled eggs or nothing. - The kindness of Paula & Jelle, the owners, I think it must be a myth. We came from Porto and depending on the traffic we said that we would arrive around 2pm. We arrived at 2:30 pm in Aljezur and stopped to eat, since the accommodation does not have meals. At 3 pm Paula phoned me to tell me where I was, that I had to check in and she wanted to go to the beach. We ran, they told us welcome, where the room was and nothing more was known about the kindness of the owners. Jelle saw us carrying the luggage a few meters away and didn't even say goodbye.
