Holiday Inn Salisbury - Stonehenge by IHG

- Personal: sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit - Lage: in einem Gewerbegebiet, dennoch ruhig. Lage für einen Ausflug nach Stonehenge (hintergrund für unsere Übernachtung) gut geeignet. - Sauberkeit: Zimmer war sauber - Preis-Leistung: für 152,-- inkl. Frühstück, Abendessen, inkl. Parkplatz (direkt vor dem Eingang) absolut angemessen (bei den sonstigen Preisen für Unterkünfte + Parkplatz als günstig einzuordnen)

informatorisch: Badezimmer jedoch mit Undichtigkeit (Traps oder Wasseranschluss) unter dem Waschbecken, war für eine Nacht nicht störend, Rezeption bei Check-out informiert

Excellent location and easy to find. Free parking on site. Lots of choices for eating out nearby. Breakfast was excellent. Reception staff very friendly. Rooms were a good size.

We were downgraded from the King size room we had booked due to air conditioning fault in our room, although the price difference will be refunded we did not sleep well in a smaller double bed and space was limited with the additional sofa bed set up. Room was ok but green light near door (to illuminate fire exit and toilet) was too bright and couldn't be switched off. We had an issue with our room key, we got it reset but still didn't work as the battery on the door lock was faulty, we had to ask reception to let us in if we left the room during our stay. Bathroom was ok but plug didn't fit properly so the bath emptied while using it. No plugs near bedside tables, this is an issue as we needed a socket for CPAP machine so had to use a cable across the floor from the desk area. No USB points for phone charging. To be honest, I expected better for £200 per night.

The room was totally satisfactory. The breakfast was standard for a Holiday Inn and the location was a perfect distance from where we needed to be to attend a tour. The staff was also very accommodating.

The was nothing we didn't like.

Location, welcome, nice and comfortable room, friendly staff in the restaurant.

The location was great, accessible to great food locations especially when travelling with kids

The Ac was not working only provided with stand fans, service was not that great. Not compensated in a better way. Kids struggled through out the night.

Room was very spacious, good location

Evening meal was very overcooked, pastry very hard on pie, returned our food.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, great location just off A303 lots of restaurants and Home Bargains within walking distance and Tesco, Lidl 5 min drive

We arrived during May heatwave , the aircon wasn’t effective so we bought two electric fans, No towel rail in the bathroom .. other than that nothing . We will stay again
