Bergen Sentrum: Koselig leilighet med 2 soverom!

Location

Gross bedroom, disgusting stain behind bed side table, some weird dark lump of something on the wall next to the bed, under the bed were thick cobwebs, used tissues and dust, stained mattress protector. There were crumbs on the couch, the kitchen cupboards were covered in hand prints, the towel shelf in the bathroom was sticky. The host did not give details of how to access the apartment and wasn’t available at the checking in time so on arrival we had to call Booking.com for assistance. The bathroom was lovely and warm, having underfloor heating but the rest of the apartment was served by one plug in heater that was unfortunately broken. The electric tripped! It was just a bit of a shambles. All of it is fixable and the location was great but the host was slovenly and for that reason I wouldn’t recommend.

No lift ( had to lug the luggage to the 2 nd floor ) Owners stuff ( like gaming chair , etc were left behind in the apartment) Bedsheets were blue in Color so could not tell if they were spotlessly clean ( prefer white Bedsheets Dinning table needs to be replaced Clothes drier did not work

Two bedrooms and comfy beds. TV with many English channels.

No lift, hard for my mom to get up the stairs. Dryer didn’t work so we washed clothes and then couldn’t dry so left with wet clothes in our suitcase. I messaged about staying a little later (like an hour) but didn’t hear back until 30 min after check out and we had left as I didn’t know if okay or not. I was told the dryer didn’t work then but it would have been nice to know ahead of time as that was one reason we booked this place. Pictures look much better than actual furniture that is scratched and beat up. No hair dryer either. Little things that could be shared to let people know ahead of time.

Very clean, massive and cozy.

Location.

Broken shower doors that are coming off the tracks. No bath mat so water goes everywhere. Washing machine made all our clothes stink of mildew. Dryer does not work at all, was full of lint and smells like something is burning. Living room shades only go up. Bedroom shades won’t go up. Under cabinet lights do not work. TV volume is at 100 and remote control does not work to turn it down. Other TV has no volume. College kids were back to school and partying with exceptional noise.

The apartment was well located and contained everything needed for a family of two adults and a grown up child. It is walking distance to the center of Bergen and there are many grocery stores nearby. It is well equipped and cozy and has a student apartment feel, as it is located near a university. Great value for your money, given the city is pretty expensive. In general, it is all we needed to our pleasant stay and visit of the beautiful Bergen!

The apartment, in general, needs a bit of 'love', the sofa is old, the sheets are very rough, the pillows can be upgraded. But this can be easily corrected. It is more suited for younger people, perhaps. But otherwise, nothing major.

Was ok

Up very high stairs. Not clean and one of the bedrooms was not made up and bedding was very grubby and heavily stained. I had to make it up with sheets that were there as his cleaners told him it was clean and made up. The owner was as shocked as me and did what he could to make it right.

Amazing location, lovely flat, communicative and friendly host, great stay!
