Heart of Brighton Lanes -Pavilion, Pier, Theatre

The apartment was excellent - many facilities including washer/dryer and fast Wi-Fi, felt luxurious, very clean, beds very comfortable, and the apartment was spacious. The apartment is located right in the centre of Brighton, which is great for daytime activities - shopping, eating, going to the Pier etc. Communication from the owner was fantastic.

We had apartment no.2 which was on the second floor - this required carrying our suitcases up quite a few stairs, which would be difficult for people with limited mobility. Another negative is that the apartment is right above a pub/nightclub so the street noise from the surrounding area at night was very annoying - the bedroom overlooking the laneway is affected the most by night time noise. The windows are not double glazed so they let in the cold and the noise.

Sweet little flat in a great location. Loved the fact that it had a washer dryer and providing laundry pods was a great touch! Very clean, well stocked and with nice fixtures in the kitchen & bathroom. I was worried about cleanliness ahead of the trip, but it was genuinely spotless. TV, fast wifi, toiletries & cooking staples were provided as well. Loved that one of the rooms has an en-suite too, and two have massive comfortable beds. We also appreciated the instructions sent ahead of the stay as they were clear & comprehensive.

Just a couple of notes, the stairs going up to flat 2 are quite steep narrow & there’s no landing ahead of the door. We were travelling with a baby & had brought a small travel pram which was ok, but would have struggled carrying a larger one up and down. Even with the smaller pram, going up and down while holding the baby was difficult. On the plus side, there’s a video intercom so you don’t have to run down to open the door which was brilliant. The en-suite was very handy, however it has some stairs with hard edges going down to access it. This is fine if you’re all able bodied adults, you’re just a bit more careful but we have a baby who had just started walking. He was young enough that we could just make sure to keep the door closed but I can imagine a slightly taller/older toddler would need to be watched carefully or something put in front of the door. Lastly I can imagine the front bedrooms being noisy at night on the weekend, but that’s the trade off for having such a central & easily accessible location! The back bedroom was great, no noise issues at all.

Apartment was clean and located at the heart of town; close all the places I had to be. There was a secured paid parking close which was convenient as I was driving. I would definately book again when/if visiting Brighton again.

Entrance was a little bit hidden and difficult to find using maps. Other than tat, every was fine and as expected.
