L'entrata nell' condominio era un po' brutta erano i secchi della mondezza e il palazzo dentro era un po' trascurato

The trash cans of the building stayed in the entrance the full week of my stay. So nothing about the flat but the building fault.

It was very nice to stay in this cosy apartment for a week with both my elderly parents. In short, I fully recommend it. Full review below: Location - It is extremely well connected as you can just walk a couple of minutes to reach the trams/buses and metro stop at Blaha Lujza square, which can take you anywhere in Budapest. Budapest's awesome transport system + BKK app (awesome app) and full pass will get you anywhere within Budapest using any means of transport. Check in - Communication via whatsapp was great and it was easy to get inside the property. There is also an elevator that can take you to the 1st floor where the apartment is (great for accessibility with 2 elderly parents who struggle to go up stairs). Apartment- The apartment has good utilities - great oven and cooker (induction), fridge, utensils for basic cooking, plates and glasses etc. Great shower pressure. Great Lighting. The large (65''?) LG smart TV is amazing to chill in front of in the evening or during breakfast. Internet was good, sometimes got stuck while streaming youtube on the TV app but tbh I would stream my own movies or series via screen mirroring /airplay app, which worked perfectly. Nice table and chairs to eat on. Supplies/ Food and Drink - There are kebab shops, a bakery and a couple of grocery stores within few meters walking distance, a MC Donalds at the end of the street (2 mins walk) and there is a LIDL just around the corner (4-5 minutes walk), which has everything you need for cheap prices, pastries for morning and pizzas for evening snacking which you can all heat up in the oven *wink. There are a couple of great restaurants just one bus stop away (Fat Mama is great and Restaurante Fuego has the most delicious baked chicken and potatoes (relatiovely cheap as well) and goulash soup). Price - for the stay was one of the best value for money on Booking.com

Considering the price we paid, you get great value for money and you would need to be picky to complain. However I'll list down a few things that might effect your stay if you are that sensitive or choosy. - There is an older type tram that will pass just in front of the apartment on street level and the sound can be a bit noticeable... it sounds like thunder and hissing when it passes. Light sleepers might be affected by this, but in my case, I was fine. - There is a bit of a plumbing and waterworks type of smell in the shower/ laundry room. - Some of the laminate flooring wood pieces will squeak when you walk to the bathroom (again relevant to sensitive sleepers). - Main bed is great (double), but the couch is a bit harder. My father can sleep on a granite slab if need be so he was happy, especially as it is in front of that gorgeous smart TV. - On the inside, the apartment has great character and looks modern (like in the photos), but the main building itself and the street outside are a bit rough/old looking. All kinds of people will be around the area so it feels generally safe? - There are garbage bins when you open the front door of the building and it's not the most welcoming scene, but as I said you go to the first floor and enter the apartment, and then you feel warm and fuzzy again. - The elevator works well, it will feel slightly small if you're bigger people and try to go in all together, but it works well (P. S. the elevator door lock sound can surprise you when you press the floor number so be prepared for it). These things didn't affect me really (33 Male), but my elderly parents will comment on every single thing that is not perfect...psst, remember the price you pay and what you're getting.

Spacious apartment, the location is OK, near to tram and bus station. Nearby there are shops, markets and New York Cafe.
