Beautiful village, lovely room welcoming hosts. Dinner. Although menu was limited the pork with fennel on focaccia was amazing! I quite liked not having a TV.. bed was comfortable ( firm) and shower worked well

Room was a little chilly 1st night ( heating did not work). The lovely thick soft towels didnt dry very well, felt damp the following evening. Sink was a little small. ÌBreakfast arrangements were vague. You need to preorder the croissants before 6pm. There are other options inc. a full cooked breakfast in the pub a few doors down!

"Fantastic place to stay"

Stunning place, beautiful village and landscape around. Love the pub. Finn was absolutely great and made us feel very welcome. And so did the rest of the village! Incredible place. Not religious at all but visiting the abbey's service on Sunday was fantastic.

The room looks pretty but it's not that practical. I'd recommend all owners of all hotels to actually stay in their rooms and see if they work.
