Y-Not Rooms - Double, Scenic Edge, Parking, Sleeps 2

It was quiet as it was away from the busy town but not too far to drive in. Good size kitchen with lots of access to cutlery and utensils etc. lovely view from the windows of the sheep and large fields at the back. Comfy bed and good sleeping facilities.

The shower took a long time to warm up or there wasn’t any hot water at all. No hanging space for clothes or coats.

The room was nice. The possibility of using a shared kitchen was appreciated.

The kitchen (which is big and well equipped) would need some fixing up and cleaning (I know it might not be easy to keep it clean if used by disrispectful guests)

A comfortable room with seperate private bathroom, both were clean and had everything I needed for a weekend stay whilst attending an event. I was fortunate there was another guest staying who helped me navigate the car park and orientating me to the accommodation

We enjoyed spending idyllic evenings outside in the garden, looking at rabbits and birds.

Although the listing claims that there is a bus connection nearby, the short distance from the house to the bus stop is not walkable, as cars fly by over the 50 mile/hour (80 km/h) speed limit. There is nowhere to walk beside the road, and fencing between fields... We ended up ordering Ubers. Ubers were plentiful to and from Stratford, but impossible to come by from Chipping Campden. The kitchen was unclean, and reminiscent of a college dormitory for boys. The kitchen lacks basic equipment for food-making. Check thoroughly before deciding to shop for a home-made dinner. We stayed in room 1, which had a bathroom in the hallway with a door. In one part of the room, paint was coming off the walls. You can hear cars passing by from the room, but it wasn't a annoyance as the sound was low. More noticeable in the bathroom. Overall the experience was passable.

All was fair

Good room, and facilities, clean and presentable. Room was hot and had no air conditioning. Had to ask for fan. There is a shared kitchen to use if you need crockery etc and are grabbing some food.

There is no door or any kind of separation between the bathroom and bedroom. Maybe that was notified somewhere, but I did not see it.

Wasn't clear how to get in. Cracks in the walls. No door between room and toilet.

Bedroom was excellent and whoever prepared the room was excellent. I greatly enjoyed the presentation of the dishcloths.

The car entrance. This in my view was very dangerous as the sign for Y not was next to gates that didn't open! This meant I had to reverse onto abusy road and then drive to an entrance 20/30 metres away which did not have a sign. There was no door between the toilet and the bedroom so all was visible and any smells carried into the bedroom and, of course, any person using the facility was clearly visible. Hygienic?^_
