Smart house ingresso indipendente- Amalfi Coast

Hochwertige, sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung. Zentral in der Altstadt, aber dennoch ruhige Lage.

The location is a bit tricky with the stairs and luggage but it is in a hilly town so to be expected if you stay up top. Getting in was easy you send a message to Giovanni and he unlocks the door remotely, then the key is on the table. The apartment was well stocked with towels, cookware, a few coffee pods, etc. The bed was a bit harder than we prefer but that seems to be common in Italy. Having the bedroom upstairs and the bathroom downstairs could be an issue if you have any mobility issues or if you frequently get up in the night. Plenty of hangers and the washer is always a plus. Salerno is a wonderful town and the pedestrian area isn’t too far from the apartment. Lots of good restaurants, bars, and shopping. Coop grocery is pretty close but downhill so you have to be prepared to carry groceries back up. Also the harbor (ferries to other Amalfi towns) and train station are pretty easy to walk to. Overall a very good stay in a nice apartment.

Bed was a bit too firm and pillows are also hard. Staircase can be a little tricky.

Great location near the old town and Duomo train station. Very nice decor and lighting. Responsive host.
