Great location, walking distance to the centre of Ambleside. Lovely gardens. Quiet. Lovely vegetarian breakfast.

Wonderful short stay with the family. The room was spotless and very comfortable. It was perfect having a family room with two rooms and two shower rooms. Breakfast was delicious. Great location.

Gorgeous old manor in beautiful grounds. The staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or attentive - great, friendly customer service. Breakfast was very good, very organised and the selection of teas/coffee/milk in the rooms was brilliant. Clean rooms with a comfy bed and the added bonus of a bath!

Sometimes struggled for space to park the car. The room itself was lovely but a bit dated - and had an adjoining door (locked) to the next room which bled a lot of noise.
