Enchanting Cottage for 4- Witchnest in Derbyshire, with EV point

Loved this place, the cottage is so cosy and I really liked the subtle Harry Potter touches!

The checkout time is 10am, would have preferred it to be 11am. (I knew it was 10am from booking, it’s just the only negative I can think up!)

Very clean throughout, kitchen very well kitted out, comfortable bed, lovely decor, been refurbished recently to a very high standard, usb sockets in plug sockets, good Wi-Fi,

No guidebook (that we could find). Temperamental instant hot water tap (no kettle as back up). Sofas very hard, couldn’t sink into them.

Enchanting is the right word! Spacious comfy place - short walking distance to two pubs and close to towns BUT in its own little world. It had everything we needed!

A very enjoyable stay at Witchnest, the cottage decor was just the right balance of modern but cosy and with all the mod coms it really felt like a home from home. The cottage was very clean through out and with a lot of lovely touches. Witchnest is decorated to a high standard and we loved the subtle references to Harry Potter. Both Bedrooms were of a good size and so a family could stay here quite comfortably as could two couples going on holiday together. Bonsall is a lovely village to explore itself aswell as the surrounding areas such as Matlock close by. I would definitely recommend Witchnest and hope to return again in the future. Great communication from the booking host.

To be honest there wasn’t much I didn’t like,the car parking was a bit tight due to location,we have an estate car so if you have a smaller sized car it probably wouldn’t be an issue.. this is mentioned during the booking so not a surprise when we got to the property and you can park on the road . There is no garden, but again not something we were bothered about.

Lovely decor, everything we needed. We loved the eco friendly ethos and products.

nicely decorated, great touch with milk, tea coffee etc in the house. bed very comfortable.

had issue with EV charger which is the reason I booked the cottage in the first place. Owen helped best they could and finally got it sorted after a couple of hours.

The house gives a feeling as home as when enter. Its so clean and everything is in good quality. Good specious bed room. Also very comfortable beds. Loved the stay there.

Everything was perfect.
