La ubicación era una zona un poco aislada pero tranquila y había aparcamiento. La vivienda amplia.

Para empezar, era muy muy difícil abrir la puerta (llevo abiertas muchas puertas de alojamientos y esta creo que ha sido la peor) y eso no es aceptable. Pero lo peor es la limpieza de la cocina, que tenía mucha grasa sin limpiar; lo típico de una limpieza deficiente de una cocina; daba asco. Cogimos un apartamento para poder cocinar algo para el niño que tenemos pero no pudimos hacerlo por culpa de la mala limpieza de la cocina. Los muebles del salón tampoco daban muy buena impresión.

The beds were comfortable and it has pretty much everything we’d need in the house. The owner had gone to quite a bit of effort with things like toiletries and sealing down the loo roll, like you’d find in a hotel. The owner was very responsive to an issue we had with the WiFi and was extremely helpful and polite. Communication was excellent.

The bathroom was very tired and it felt off-putting to use. The shower curtain had mould/mildew on it and I could smell it when I had a shower. Save money by not supplying little toiletries and instead replace shower curtain more frequently. Very bright ceiling light in lounge and no lamps so we brought one from upstairs. There were no cleaning products in the house - a kitchen worktop spray would be good. The garden gate was off its hinges and lying on the ground. We stayed at Fringe time so although it was cheaper than central Edinburgh prices, it still wasn’t cheap by any means, so it’s a shame about these issues.

We enjoyed staying there. The beds were very comfortable and sheets/towels were pristine and clean. We battled to get the power shower to work and the water wasn’t that warm. The kitchen, lounge and bathrooms needed a good clean which would have improved our whole experience.
